Hey Hey Nice To Meet Ya!

I’m Janae the owner and creative behind Virginia Rose Design Co.

The name is extra special to me. Virginia is my middle name and Rose comes from my crafty era (shoutout to the Rose Edition Cricut ), and together they became the brand baby you see today—VRD!

I earned my BFA in Interior Architecture from UNC Greensboro in 2018 and spent 7 years working as an Interior Designer. During the 2020 shutdown while interning at a design firm, I got a little bored… so naturally, I got crafty. One project turned into another, and before I knew it Virginia Rose Design Co. was born.

Now I’m officially putting my whole heart (and design brain) into VRD. Creating fun, colorful designs that don’t take life too seriously. I’m obsessed with pasta, design, soft pastels, and making things that feel happy.

I live in North Carolina with my husband and our amazing two-year-old son, who keeps life wild and wonderful.

My motto?
